UrBackup is an easy to setup Open Source client/server backup system, that through a combination of image and file backups accomplishes both data safety and a fast restoration time.
Run as Context- UrBackup runs as the root user.

- UrBackup is able to change file ownership.
- UrBackup is able to set the setuid attribute on a file.

- UrBackup is able to bypass permission checks on operations that normally require the file system UID of the process to match the UID of the file.
